Open Position: Carpet Cleaning Technician

About the Position:
Family-owned and operated company is seeking a Carpet Cleaning Technician to join their busy, growing team ASAP! This is a long-term opportunity offering growth within a company well-known in the industry who has been in business for over 75 years. Carpet Cleaning Technicians will report to main shop in Boynton Beach where they will work both within the shop as well as out on service calls. Day-to-day job duties will change depending on the schedule that week. This position offers stable, consistent work as well as room for growth and promotions within the organization. This is a great opportunity to learn to new valuable skills and work with an amazing team!

Job Related Responsibilities:

• Area rug cleaning
• Rolling, wrapping, and packaging of cleaned rugs
• Receiving in-coming shipments
• Preparing out-going shipment
• Carpet and upholstery cleaning within customer residences
• Travel as needed to various job sites within area or the state

Top Qualifications for Position:

• Carpet & Upholstery cleaning experience
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to lift and move atleast 75 LBS as needed
• Ability to communicate with staff and customers professionally
• Ability to work on displays from ladders as needed
• Team Player
• Reliable transportation

Other Qualifiations:

• Technically savvy with programs, photos, and invoices on iPad or phone
• Legible hand-writing
• Mechanically-inclined
• Ability to problem-solve or “think outside the box”
• Carpet Installation

Hours:

• 8AM-5PM
• Potential Overtime if needed

• Carpet Cleaning Technician’s job performance will be measured based on their ability to accomplish daily tasks and complete jobs in a timely manner.
• A 30-day review will provide evaluation of new employee’s performance
• There is room for growth within the company and promotions based on performance
• Opportunity to earn extra $$ with sales commissions and yearly bonuses based on individual and company performance

Compensation:

• $15-$20 per hour depending on experience
• Health insurance offered after 90-day period
• Paid vacation time offered
• Opportunity to earn bonuses for upselling and performance
